AI Copilot

• Organization-level skills: admins can now create, edit, and delete Copilot Skills once at the account level so they're available in every project, instead of recreating them per project. Any project editor (not just the owner) can manage that project's own skills, and non-admins can duplicate an organization skill into their project to adapt it — when both exist, the project skill wins, and each side shows which version is running
• New MCP dbt tools: the AI Copilot can now read, import, and write dbt manifests and configuration through MCP
• (Fix) Subagents now use only the tools their task needs — the Product guide and Reviewer subagents no longer read chat attachments meant for another agent

Integrations

• Microsoft Purview integration: added Microsoft Purview as a Data Governance provider, alongside Collibra and Atlan. Governance-role users can connect via Entra client credentials (classic and tenant-level accounts), browse collections, and push and pull governance values between SqlDBM and Purview, with large pushes running as asynchronous jobs with batching and progress tracking
• GitHub App integration: a new public GitHub App with OAuth authorization, installation, and lifecycle management — including reauthorization and a manifest-based installation flow — plus refreshed UI for authorizing, installing, and reconnecting

Snowflake

• Virtual columns: define an expression on a Snowflake column, edit it directly in the column editor, and have it survive the full model and DDL round-trip, including generated alter scripts
• Added a using_relationships property to Snowflake semantic model metrics, so you can specify which relationships a metric uses (per the Cortex Analyst spec)

Color Labels

• Color Labels: assign colored labels to objects across the platform, with a custom hex color picker, and filter diagrams by color label. Manage labels from property editors, the Database Explorer, Copilot tools, and the public API. Labels carry through merges, cross-project synchronization, sample projects, and logical import/export compares

Diagrams

• Double-clicking a column on a diagram now focuses it in the metadata panel
• Diagram locate results now show the subject area for each match

Forward Engineering

• Added a "Save to File" option to download generated Forward Engineering DDL directly to your computer

Table Templates

• You can now exclude specific fields from naming rules in a table template's YAML

Databricks

• (Fix) A Databricks partitioning key change now generates an executable rebuild alter script, instead of being detected in Compare but producing no script

Compare

• (Fix) Column default-value comparison now compares default values against each other, instead of only against a fixed baseline

Permissions

• (Fix) Users without the Data Governance role no longer see an "Access Denied or Not Found" banner on Database Documentation or the Metadata tab — these read-only surfaces now render for anyone with project access

Metadata

• (Fix) Editing a metadata column with a governance field no longer creates a phantom focus stop that blocked typing

Erwin Import

• (Fix) Erwin EMX/XML imports no longer silently drop inter-entity relationships or turn Many-to-Many placeholders into empty dummy tables

Iframe Integrations

• (Fix) The iframe revision-flag filter now stores the correct flag ids, so flag colors no longer get mismatched when saving and reloading filters
